Registration is now open for Virtually Woven 2024, NBO’s third biennial online conference.
This year, the online conference will be held on three consecutive Fridays in July: July 12, July 19 and July 26, 2024, with each day focused on a different aspect of basketry’s creative process.
The conference schedule includes presentations and panel discussions with leading basketry and fiber artists, including Gyöngy Laky and Jo Stealey. The conference also features the opening and awards ceremony for Every 1 2024, NBO’s member-only basketry exhibition. In addition, each Friday will include a unique Lunch Basket discussion where NBO members can share their work and weaving knowledge.
Virtually Woven 2024 is open to the public. The registration fee for all three sessions is $80. NBO members receive a discounted registration fee of $60 for all three sessions. Individual day passes are not available. Video recordings of panels and presentations will be available to members only on the NBO website after the conclusion of the conference.
