Flat, round, dyed and natural colored reed woven on a grape vine form in the Appalachia style. Inserts of Split Leaf Philodendron sheath woven into basket base.

Working with some materials I grow, find or are gifted is a main focus of my basketry. After years of classes, experimenting and weaving, I am in the process of using materials on hand for my weaving. This basket is a result of efforts. Woven especially for this exhibit.
