Overflow

My work begins with a love of willow. Willow grows wild and abundantly in Montana. It is a beautiful traditional basket material, strong and flexible.Harvesting each autumn I feel a partnership between the willow and myself. I find it a wonderfully expressive medium. My willow sculptures resonate with the land. They are dynamic linear forms that speak of time, movement and the life-force within the natural world.
