Entangled

This piece was begun in early 2020.
Kelp stipe was gathered dry from a beach near Gualala, CA. One long piece of kelp was used for the body, and 6 small pieces fastened to it for the base.
Monofilament (fishing line) was crocheted to complete the shape.
