Pagan Baby

“Pagan Baby” is part of a recent exploration using wire as a structural basis for my artworks and introducing different materials and lots of color. It is woven in a style I call improvisational as only the basic over/under of traditional basketry is followed. I also wanted it to fit comfortably in the arms like a real baby. Materials include wire, add, ribbons, beads and buttons.
