After creating the pattern on graph paper, I painted 140 lb. watercolor paper with acrylic paints. The paper was hand cut into 1/4″ strips and twill plaited into a QR code design on both large sides of the vessel. The word Peace is woven into both narrow sides of the vessel. The interior is painted blue and yellow to symbolize the people of the Ukraine and their hope for Peace in their war torn country.
