Twined with 7 ply waxed linen and beads. Designed and woven during a visit to my daughter’s house. Weaving and making memories. She gave the basket it’s title.

Basketry came into my life one evening at a ladies meeting 39 years ago. All my life I enjoyed making, creating, and intrigued to try something new. Basket making captured my interest. Experimenting with a variety of materials, learning from professional teachers in my early years was a blessing that transformed my life. It has become a major part of my every day. While I enjoy and appreciate the feel, characteristics of different natural woods, and how they speak to you; waxed linen and fibers similar to it are my favorite. Designing, weaving, teaching, and all the friendships formed, I am thankful for.
