Check out Pati’s brochure (to be mailed to you upon registration) and website, www.BasketsMySpecialty.com, containing numerous designs from which to choose. Then choose your colors hand dyed by Pati prior to class. Depending on the basket pattern, there will be the options for weaving with round, flat or flat oval reed as well as options for a woven base, filled-in base, or wood base.
Explore numerous basket techniques: traditional over/under start/stop, continuous weave, double and triple three-rod and four-rod wale, reverse waling for Bargello Arrows, spirals, twills, diamonds, French randing, Cherokee Wheels, waves, and braids.
