My art practice centers around ideas of nostalgia, reminiscence, and how we memorialize the people, places, and experiences of our lives. Exploring mixed fiber arts as methods for connecting the threads of ideas and vessels as forms for holding them, I work to find ways to capture and communicate memory. I use the accumulated traditions of crafts that have been passed down for generations to express time and the deep connection between past and present.
