I started making a donut shape by twining rattan. As the inner hole developed I turned the rattan outward and then continued making the outer skin.

When I am working in my studio I am usually having a conversation with the natural world. Exploring ideas along with using renewable natural materials provide so much enjoyment. Although there may be technical problems to solve and perhaps even a failed issue, at the end of the day I leave the studio content.
