Agave

My basket designs are inspired by the landscape and flora of the Sonoran Desert, where I live and work. The colors of the desert, the shapes of the mountains and the shapes, colors and blossoms of the flora all inspire my pieces. Recently, I have been experimenting with adding my work in other fibers (inkle bands, table woven bands, kumihimo braids), other materials (leather, metal) and wire wrapped semi-precious gemstones into my basketry.
