My work has always been inspired by my environment , about my thoughts and feelings for the space around me. Currently that space is a central illinois family farm i grew up on and moved back to three years ago. These twined and woven wire pieces reflect what I see: tall grass, weeds along fence rows bordering fields and waterways and the leavings of generations of farming. All this has to do with layers of time and memory.
