Our website includes a Basketry Calendar, listing conferences, workshops, classes, festivals and exhibitions of interest to the basketry community.
You are invited to submit listings for your event or events you know about. It’s free and you can submit a listing at any time.
We encourage you to post events well in advance to ensure they will be seen by as many people as possible. Calendar listings are pulled quarterly and (depending on deadlines, space, and print dates) included in NBO’s magazine, Basketry+.
Step 1
Go to the Basketry Calendar and check to see if the event is already listed. Use the Search box and type in the title or location of the event. If it’s not listed, go to step 2.
Step 2
Gather the information for your event. You’ll need the event title, the date(s), a brief description, and the full name and address of the location of the event. (If it’s an online event, you’ll need the website address (URL).
Step 3
Complete the Submit an Event form. If you’re not logged in to the website, you’ll see two fields to enter your name and email address. Don’t worry, we won’t publish this information; we just need to know who to contact if we have questions. If you’re already logged in to the website, you won’t see these fields.
