Nancy Loorem Adams, HGA Award Winner

During the recent Handweavers Guild of America conference in Reno, Nevada, NBO member Nancy Loorem Adams was awarded two significant prizes in the Great Basin Basketry Exhibit. Congratulations, Nancy!

Made It, 2017 — Honorable Mention Shredded dollar bills, cane, maple wood veneer, lacquer and acrylic media over paper mâché.

Manga Artifact, 2016 — Second Place and feature on the cover of HGA’s Shuttle Spindle Dyepot magazine. Hamburg cane, image transfer, raw silk threads, waxed linen, paper core, acrylic medium, paint and lacquer.
