Willow Lady

For 20 years I am a basketmaker now. Starting with making baskets from willow it grew in the years to so many other materials like cane, paper, plastic, textile, various natural materials, metal and lots more. I am a teacher in various basketry techniques like stake and strand, knotting, looping, plaiting and coiling etc. One of the reasons why I am teaching is because a lot of basketry knowledge is fading and it's very important that this knowledge stays. Every 1 is so important too because it shows people what's possible with all the materials making a very functional basket or beautiful art.
