The fibers of nature appear in many forms, including all forms of wood, grapevine, sweetgrass, hair, cotton, silk, hemp, wool, linen, paper, and more. The intent of this exhibition is to highlight the beauty that is manifested in these different forms, and to illustrate how artists are able to weave, sculpt, and imagine these fibers into art. This is a national, juried call and all accepted works will be exhibited in our main gallery space from Saturday, February 11 to Saturday, April 1. All submitted works must be made from at least 50% natural fiber.
