The National Basketry Organization is pleased to invite NBO Members and conference attendees to show their work at the NBO’s twelfth biennial conference at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.
The exhibition BYOB 25: Bring Your Own Basket, is a non-juried invitational show that will be displayed at the beautiful Kittredge Gallery on the campus of the University of Puget Sound from Wednesday evening, July 23 at 7:00 pm through Saturday, June 26, 2023 at 12:00 Noon. We would like to thank the Exhibition Committee for their efforts in supporting BYOB 25.
BYOB 25 is intended to encourage, inspire and connect. All levels, techniques and materials are welcome. We hope you will choose to take part in what is sure to be an exciting and fun look at the diverse work of basket artists from across the country and beyond.

How to enter
Each conference attendee will be able to enter one piece in the show.
We ask that you plan what you would like to bring to Tacoma and pre-register your entry using the form below.
Your work must be hand delivered to Kitteridge Gallery, preferably between 1:00 and 5:00 pm on Tuesday July 22, or if necessary from 8:00 to 8:30 am on Wednesday, July 23.
All work MUST be picked up by 12:00 noon, on Saturday, July 26. At that time, we will be accepting work for the final exhibition of the conference, “A Week’s Work”. NBO cannot take responsibility for return shipping under any circumstances.
All sales inquiries will be referred to the artist. Should a sale occur as a result of this exhibition, rather than charging a commission, NBO requests the artist consider making a 20% donation to NBO. All details surrounding the sale of artwork, including tax and shipping, are the responsibility of the artist.
ALL participants are asked to approve photography rights and limit liability during the exhibition. Photos may be used on social media, on our website and in Basketry+ magazine.
Gallery hours will be posted during the conference. The gallery will be locked at all other times to secure the work. Neither NBO nor the University of Puget Sound will be providing insurance for this exhibition.
