World of Threads To Include McGuinness

#NBObasketartist Dorothy McGuinness will be participating in the World of Threads Festival in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. She will have 5 pieces in the Corridor Galleries at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre.

The 2014 World of Threads Festival, is a biennial festival that is a showcase of local, national and international contemporary fibre and textile art. It is based in Oakville, Ontario where it began in 1994. This year there is also a show in Mississauga. They are showing 255 artworks by 97 artists from 12 countries.

Dates: Nov. 1 – 30, 2014. Admission is free. The main Festival venue is Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre in Oakville.
