Jo Stealey : Smithsonian Interview

Doug Litts recently interviewed NBO Board member Josephine Stealey for a post to Smithsonian Libraries’ Unbound. Stealey was awarded first prize for her work, Paired for Life at a national artist book exhibition, Outside the Margins held at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. The work has now been added to the Smithsonian American Art Museum/National Portrait Gallery Library artists’ book collection.

#NBObasketartist Jackie Abrams has had a nice press mention in the Australian magazine, Textile Fiber Forum. Jackie will be returning to the land down under for a teaching engagement at Grampians Texture in March and then at Contextart in April, 2015.

NBO member Elizabeth Runyon is one of four artists whose work is included in the exhibition “home” at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts in Hamilton, OH. The event is on view January 10 – February 20, 2015.
