Accepted and Invited Artists Announced for ATC VIII

Jurors JoAnn Kelly Catsos and Perry Price selected 55 objects by 45 artists for the All Things Considered VIII Exhibition. In addition, 16 invited artists, including the conference faculty, will be part of the show.

Beyond Materials

Dorothy Gill Barnes - HAYSTACK RIVER BASKET

The work of renowned Ohio artist Dorothy Gill Barnes will be showcased in the Ohio Craft Museum’s upcoming exhibition, “Beyond Materials: Artists Pushing the Boundaries of Basketry.” On view February 1–March 22, the show will also feature forms by seven contemporary basketmakers from across the country.

Lanny Bergner is a mixed-media sculptor, installation, fiber and sculptural basketry artist. Lanny has been creating biomorphic and geometric constructions and installations out of metal mesh since 1983. He maintains a studio on Fidalgo Island near Anacortes, Washington.
