In this two day class, open to all levels, students will learn how to make a beautiful and functional willow basket. We will discuss the basics of rib style willow basketry along with the methods of growing, gathering and processing willow for weaving. We will prepare rims and handles, learn lashing and traditional weaving techniques. Good hand strength is necessary.
