DESCRIPTION:This workshop is part of HGA's Convergence 2026 in New Orleans.
 \nFor anyone curious\, wanting to know more\, or wanting to get started\, 
 great! This session will help with that. Students will learn the basics of
  ply-split braiding\, making three small projects. Students will work with
  the two main ply-split braiding structures known as POT and SCOT\, will l
 earn about quarter twists\, and will know how to take things further after
  the session\, gaining a practical and simple grounding in ply-split braid
 ing.
