DESCRIPTION:This workshop is part of HGA's Convergence 2026 in New Orleans\
 , and will go to the roots of ply-split braiding.\nStudents will make a tr
 aditional pattern from the camel belts of Rajasthan\, a pattern in POT and
  SCOT in black and white\; it’s something that all ply-splitters should 
 make at least once. Students will also make a second\, simpler camel belt 
 braid\, also in black and white. Students won’t make a whole camel belt 
 in the workshop\, but will leave with the skills to do so.
