DESCRIPTION:Design and weave a custom wicker\, round reed basket from start
  to finish. Learn how to select an appropriate base\, side weaving techniq
 ues\, border treatments\, and various handle styles to enhance whatever ty
 pe of basket you desire. Students will choose colors to brighten your weav
 ing and learn how to dye natural reed material with fiber reactive dyes. S
 ome experience required\, students must have woven with round and flat ree
 d\; feel comfortable with the basic skills such as twining\, three-rod wal
 e\, and over-under weaving\; and know how to make a basket base\, rim or b
 order\, and at least two side weaves.
