SUMMARY:July 20\, 2026 - July 24\, 2026  - Forms in Wire and Gut - 
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed for both beginners and more experienc
 ed individuals interested in working with wire and gut. Participants will 
 learn a variety of textile and basketry techniques including twisting\, wr
 apping/binding\, encapsulation\, random weave\, and sewing. We will begin 
 with samples and transition to larger forms using wire. Participants will 
 also explore adding hog gut as a skin\, encapsulation\, and lashing/bindin
 g elements. Emphasis will be placed on learning and experimenting with the
  techniques\, and play will be encouraged. Expect some fun exercises and l
 ively group discussions.
