DESCRIPTION:Call for Entry—Fiber Artists of San Antonio's 2026 Annual Jur
 ied Exhibition\, Viriditas: Flourishing Life Energy\n\nJuried by internati
 onally recognized fiber artist Jane Dunnewold\, the Fiber Artists of San A
 ntonio (FASA) invites Texas and continental U.S. artists working in fiber 
 and textile media to submit work for its 2026 Annual Juried Exhibition\, V
 iriditas: Flourishing Life Energy. Inspired by the writings of 12th-centur
 y mystic Hildegard von Bingen\, Viriditas is a Latin term meaning “green
 ing power” or the life-force that animates all living things. Artists ar
 e encouraged to explore themes of vitality\, renewal\, resilience\, growth
 \, and the creative energy that connects humanity to the natural world.\n\
 nSubmissions may include traditional and contemporary fiber techniques suc
 h as weaving\, quilting\, embroidery\, felting\, basketry\, mixed-media te
 xtile work\, and experimental fiber processes. The exhibition celebrates t
 he diversity of contemporary fiber art and invites innovative interpretati
 ons of this inspiring theme.\n\nJuror Jane Dunnewold is a recipient of the
  Quilt Japan Prize\, the Gold Prize at the Taegue International Textile Ex
 hibition\, and the 2025 Mastery Award from 108 Contemporary. Dunnewold is 
 a respected educator\, author\, and leader in contemporary fiber arts.\n\n
 Selected works will be exhibited November 7–December 11\, 2026\, at the 
 Semmes Gallery\, Kelso Art Center\, University of the Incarnate Word\, San
