UPDATE: Changes to On-Campus Housing

The University of Puget Sound has just contacted us about changes they need to make in our housing options for the NBO Conference in July of 2017.

Instead of being in three dorms, UPS is housing all participants the Trimble Dorm. This is a newer dorm building consisting of all single rooms. The rooms are arranged in groupings of 4 to 6 with each group sharing a bathroom. There are elevators for easy access to the upper floor rooms. It is centrally located, just across a grassy area from the Wheelock Student Center where we’ll be having all our meals. There is even a lovely, large room on the ground floor for evening socializing and “open weave”.

As a result of this change, UPS is reducing the premium room rate to $550 per room.

  • If you are a commuter, or if you booked a single room at Oppenheimer/Smith, there are no cost changes.
  • If you paid the higher rate for the premium room in Trimble, you will be credited for the difference. We’ll deduct it from your final conference invoice.
  • If you booked a double room in Oppenheimer/Smith, there is a $50 increase and you will be placed in a single in Trimble. We are sorry the double-room option is no longer available, but we must work with the campus and what they are able to offer.

Thank you for your understanding. As always, if you have any questions or if you wish to let us know about mobility issues, please let us know.
