Jacinthe LeCornu

I weave natural fibers to create baskets to gather provisions for life. Baskets were once used in our shared human history to collect more while foraging or for storing food for winter use. I connect to this history by participating in the rhythms of weaving passed down through generations.  I connect to the earth and my fellow beings through the roots and bark of spruce and cedar.
