In this two-day workshop, open to all levels, students will learn how to make a beautiful and functional willow basket. Students will learn the basics of rib style willow basketry along with the methods of growing, gathering, and processing willow for weaving. Students will prepare rims and handles and learn lashing and traditional weaving techniques. Good hand strength is necessary for working with willow.
